I want to hear about your books as often as you're willing and able to share. Yes, I know I see you five days a week, but our schedule is so full. It leaves little time to chat about the good, the bad, and everything in between when it comes to our books.
So, tell me about your book. Do you admire a particular character, or do you find him/her to be slightly annoying? Are you reading until 2:00 a.m. because you have to make sure things end well for your beloved character(s), or is the book a snoozefest? You're welcome to comment on another student's post as well. In fact, nothing would make me happier as a teacher than to see my students having real conversations about their books. Whatever you want to share about reading on this blog, just do so with your GSS character traits (be honest, responsible, and caring).
Happy reading and blogging to us in the 2012-2013 school year!
Today I read 1 hour of the book " We Were Heroes". It's about a man named Scott and he's fighting in WWII. Right now i'm on the page when he just got onto Omaha beach on D-day.

DeleteThank you so much for participating! Yea! You're the first official comment on our blog.
You're tackling some tough material. The stories of bravery and sacrifice from that time period never cease to amaze me. Do you think the book is well-written? Why did you decide to read it?
Hi Mrs.Thomas! I just wanted to say Hi can't write much ( ipod is glitching ) But... I read _The_People_of_Sparks_ (pretend its underlined) I'm not far, but I'm glad that the main characters are with their friends again :)
Delete- Jennifer Totten
Jennifer,
DeleteYour "pretend it's underlined" comment made me truly laugh out loud! It was perfectly placed, and it sounded just like you:) Plus, it means you were paying attention.
Why were the main characters separated from their friends in the first place? Do you think they'll remain together for the remainder of the book?
Just get done readimg to my sister for 2hour Elizabeth Jefferson
ReplyDeleteElizabeth,
DeleteWhat a way to practice your reading fluency! Our goal is to read 160 or more words per minute at the conclusion of our year. Did you alter your voice to match your interpretation of the characters?
I'm been reading Sounder for the last 3 days and it is a great book. Sounder is about a poor african-american boy with a dog named sounder .The story takes place in the 19th century and the boy is struggling to basically live. One morning a delicious sweet ham is cooking in the kitchen. Finally, they have a good meal but that night a furious sheriff and his deputies come and the boy's life will never be the same.
ReplyDeleteChrista Ross
Fantastic! When I get into a book, I'm completely invested in the characters' lives. When something so unfair happens to a character, I silently plead for there to be a way to a happy ending. Do you think the sheriff is jealous? lonely? insecure? I'm wondering what's causing his fury...
DeleteAlso, it was nice to meet your little sister today!
Hey everybody!!! I wanted to recommend a book called "Walk Two Moons" by Sharon Creech. It ties in with our unit of Life, Love, and Learning.
DeleteIt was eric who wrote the walk two moons thing.
DeleteEric Austin
Hi, Eric!
DeleteI'm so impressed with your reference to our new unit. Honestly, it made my night because you're connecting what you're learning in class to what you're reading at home. Wow! Would you mind elaborating? What are the connections between your book and our unit?
Also, I know 2 other students are reading that same book. I'll be interested to hear what they have to say. Maybe they'll comment on your post!
Christa nice way to sum it up!! I read it to. Actually i was forced agaist my by my mom.
DeleteChrista-
DeleteI think that comment was by Zyare.
On Wendsday I finished reading Sounder. It was an amazing book! Anybody have any books to recomend?
DeleteChrista Ross
Ps.Sorry I forgot to underline the book title(also i don't know how).
Christa, are you looking for a certain genre?
DeleteThe genre of books I am looking for are drama, humor, romance, and sometimes fantasy and mystery. If anyone has any books please tell me soon!!! Gotta go!
Delete-Christa Ross
Bilal recommends The Westing Game, a classic mystery book. It's a 750L, so it should be a quick read on a rainy weekend.
Deletehi Mrs. Thomas, I've been reading a book called the creepover, it's a really cool book!
ReplyDeleteJessica Broad
Jessica,
DeleteIt's good to hear from you! I'm thinking about the title of your book. It's definitely unique. How does the title relate to the plot?
Hey Mrs.Thomas! Well i'm reading the indian captive. My friends say it is very boring but i think it is awesome! happening in the 19th century (the westward expansion) if i was Mary/Molly Jemison i would deffinently feel like i was treated like a servant/slave.(i would write a lot more but i think i would write to much cause i like talking and also talking without really talking)but if you want me i could keep on talking about the book cause im almost done.:)
ReplyDeleteP.S umm im just wondering how do under line on a laptop? if you know please reply!!
This is Leilah Mendez
You and Jennifer (see above) remembered to underline book titles, so I'm on cloud 9 (we're going to learn about cliches tomorrow!). I honestly don't think we have the option to underline in these small text boxes, but I'll see if Mr. Lee, the technology whiz and amazing math teacher, can help us. :)
DeleteDid your friends mention the reasons for their opinions? Does the book begin slowly with little or no action? Or, do they dislike historical fiction?
Hi Mrs.Thomas I just finished black_hawk_down and in the middle of the book Pvt.Blackburn has to rope down from the helicopter and a RPG is fired at the chopper and he slips of the rope and dies I was heartbroken because I thought he wouldbe hooked on the rope like everyone else
DeleteMason Bidnick
Mason,
DeleteI'm thinking of your character, and I'm imagining his last moments and his ultimate sacrifice. Very, very tough subject matter.
What did you learn from this book (think of the theme)?
I felt like I could end up with the same fate because I want to be in the military when I grow up.Also did you here about the attack in afganistan?
Delete~Mason Bidnick
Mason, this brought tears to my eyes. I did hear of the attack and various others around the world. It's very sad and scary, but I'm so thankful for our military. Your reasoning is understandable, but many careers come with dangers. When the time comes, you'll choose a profession that uses your talents and interests you.
DeleteHey Mrs.Thomas.Right now I'm reading Dork Diaries 3.It's about a 13 year old girl who overreacts about everything.Especially about her crush.Thank you for having this book in your library Mrs.Thomas.Sorry I couldn"t underline the book. The computer won't let me underline it without messing up the sentence.
ReplyDeleteKari Collins
No problem, Kari! I hope softball practice wasn't too hard on you or the rest of the girls:)
DeleteDo you find the main character annoying for overreacting, or do you think she's funny? In what ways can you relate to her?
Hi Mrs. Thomas I wanted to recommend one more books called "Middle School The Worst Years Of My Life". It is about a 6th grader who tries to break all the rules in the code of conduct before the last day of school. He has successes a little less than fails (Ok, a lot of fails) but the only way to see what happens is to read it. If you have read this book please reply and tell me what you think. :) :) :) :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEric Austin
Trenton
Deletei want read that
Hi, boys! Maybe ya'll can swap books. Trent, you could recommend Dive or another book to Eric. Ask him which book genre(s) interest him most (mystery, fiction, fantasy, etc.). Just a thought.
DeleteHi Mrs.Thomas I'm reading SENT (like everyone else can't underline!)it is the second book in the missing series and OMG i can feel that some thing big is about to happen so I guess that mom is gonna have to fight me to stop reading tonight!LOL!
ReplyDeleteReilly Thomas
Listen to your mom, Reilly! Put the book down:) However, I'm thrilled about your excitement. Not every book can have that effect on us, so enjoy it.
DeleteWhy do you think something "big" is going to happen? You left me hanging (that's an idiom, right?) with no details.
Wow "Sent" was an amazing book an i didnt really think anyone likes it the mystories and the backstabbing is amazing with that serious i didnt go 2 sleep until 12:00am and slept half the day. Plz reply.
DeleteRegan Gayadeen (Guyadean)
I think Ms. Morris, our media specialist, really likes this author. Ask her about it!
DeleteHi mrs thomas I just wanted to recomend * the lighting theif * ( can't find underline) also can't wait to read *chicken soup for the teenage soul 2 *
ReplyDelete- kaydriana simpson
Kaydrianna,
DeleteI consider The Lightning Thief a classic book for your age group, so you have good taste! Please tell me (and everyone reading) why you feel this way.
I can't wait to get our class set of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul2 either.
Hi Mrs.Thomas.I read a book called AnimorphsThe Stranger. It's very interresting and there's a lot of action.I want to read the other series.I saw your book shelf and you really do have a lot of series of Animorphs.I know you told the cass to underline the book title, but I don't know how to. Bre'Anna Wilder.
ReplyDeleteWell, you can thank a former student for her generous book donation to my library. She loved those books, and her generousity is spreading to others!
DeleteHave you made any predictions about the book?
Um...Yes,I think that Rachel and her Animorph friends are going to get rid of the Yeerks for good. The Yeerks are Parasites who want to destroy the Andalites(Animorphs). And,I thank the student for making a book donation, she really donated some good books!
DeleteWhy do the Yeerks want to destroy the Animporphs?
DeleteSo they can make them one of their controllers by going into their brains and controllig what they do like, controlling their eyes arms legs, etc. And they really don't like the Animorphs. That's why I think that the Animorphs really need to get rid of the Yeerks for good. Bre'Anna Wilder.
DeleteBre'Anna, it's scary to think of controlling others in those ways! Yikes!
DeleteHi Mrs.Thomas.I'm now reading Animorphs The Secret. It's great so far,but i have to keep reading and see if it gets better.I already read Animorphs The Solution,Animorphs The Departure, and Animorphs The Visitor,I just forgot to tell you about them.Well I told you about them in my reading log.I'M OBSESSED WITH THE ANIMORPHS BOOKS! Bre'Anna Wilder.
DeleteHi Mrs.Thomas.I'm finished reading Animorphs The Secret.I just wanted to know if I have any time tomorrow to check out another book so that I can read Animorphs The Android.Hope it's good!Tell me to break a leg on reading the book.<3
DeleteSorry I forgot to put my name.I'm Bre'Anna Wilder.LOL.
DeleteHelloooooooo Mrs.Thomas.This is Bre'Anna Wilder coming from the planet Earth.LOL.I am now reading Animorphs The Android. It's interesting so far.I would definitely recommend all of these Animorophs books to anybody who loves animals and fiction. One thing I like about the Animorphs books is that every series talks about different people.Like one book talks about Rachel, then another book talks about Cassie, and then another book talks about Marco, and etc.
DeleteAlso if Icant find *lighting theif * may I recommend * the pig who saved the world*
ReplyDelete~ kaydriana simpson

Zyare,
DeleteThank you for the kind message! It feeds my teaching soul:)
Thank you for not spoiling the plot or the ending! I'm more than curious about your book. I want to know about the boy's specific phobias and the classmate's special gift. Is this the book you recommended to me last week?
Sorry that was not supposed to be that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs.Thomas, Shevin here, I've been reading one of my all time favorite books called Ruby Holler. Ruby Holler is about 2 siblings that get adopted and go to this place called Ruby Holler where they live with this old couple and have amazing adventures. I'm also reading the Fire Star book. I lended CJ The Fire Within, and I always see him reading it in class free time. I sure hope he doesn't finish the series before me. It's good to see many people reading the same book series ( like the Hunger Games ) because we can all share, discuss, and have fun with it. I also saw Zoe reading Percy Jackson book 4, which reminds me I'm almost done with the series, I just didn't quite finish it ( I need to do that soon ). I also need help with underlining book titles. Ok post to you later.
ReplyDeleteHi, Shevin! Mrs. Thomas here. I enjoy rereading books just like you. I've read The Hunger Games series twice:) What benefits do you think come from rereading a book or series?
DeleteI love to share and discuss books as well (hence this blog!), and I appreciate the enthusiasm you bring to our class. I'm sure CJ appreciates the book.
The Hunger Games Series is amazing ive read them all in two weeks. Why does everybody die off of a training mission. Tragic right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI wish I knew the author of the above comment! I completely agree with you. Once I started to really like a character, I had to say goodbye:( I think Suzanne Collins used the tragic circumstances to anger her characters to do something about the government's control. What do you think? There has to be a purpose behind her including it all, right?
DeleteSup' people! I got bored playing on my 3ds,so I thought I would chat about my books! Right now I'm reading the second book in "The Dork Diaries"! These books are awsome! The main character, (her name is Nikki)she exagerates about everything! Its super funny! The other book that I was reading was "Artimis Fowl"! I'm a little confused about the book. Artimis fowl is a mastermind genius! I don't know how he does it, but he does. What I don't get is this, How come Artimis uses his powers for evil? why can't he be good like the rest of us? (well, not all of us!:D)
ReplyDeleteI think these are great books every one should read them!
If you are confused don't read it
DeleteETHAN FERGUSON
I wish I knew a name for this comment!
DeleteYou and Kari (see above) should chat about The Dork Diaries. I wonder if she thinks Nikki is as funny as you do!
You have posed a very mature question about using powers for evil. I'm proud of you for it! This is a question I have asked myself many times, and I think it may come down to our choices and the motivations behind them. Unfortunately, some people choose greed, pride, and power over all else.
Yes it is.
DeleteHey mrs thomas Raven just wanted to know how would you know if we read or not and are we suppose to write it in our reading log
ReplyDelete~ kaydriana posted Raven asked the question
P.s not at each other house
Hi, Raven! When you read, get your parent or teacher to sign your reading log. I will check reading logs every Friday for 2 or more hours of reading. I hope this helps.
DeleteHi Mrs.Thomas,i wanted to chat, and tell you about my book...my book is called (EGGS).
ReplyDeleteit is a very intersting book.it is about this boy who goes easter egg hunting, and he dosent find any eggs so he goes in the woods and finds a body under this pile of leaves.
so on the next day his grandmother takes him to the libary for story time, and when he goes in the libary he sees the body that he found in the woods.then he screamed and the body woke up and screamed....after they dissuced what was going on they became friends....
and in the book the boy is very annoying....
-britney suttle
Hi, Britney! Tell me (and everyone else reading) why you think he's annoying. Do you wish he was braver? less dramatic?
DeleteI keep thinking about the title of the book. Beyond the easter egg hunt, how do you see the title relating to the events in the book? the theme?
_Creepover_ is a mystery and supernatural book and I can't wait until I get to read the other books in the series! :)
ReplyDeleteps: HI!
Jessica Broad
Please keep me posted. I don't know much about the series! How did you hear about it?
DeleteHey... I mean [HI] Mrs.Thomas, hey is for horses.Anywho,i am really liking my book it's called _losers_Inc.It's about an 11 year old kid,he is 4 feet 11 inches so i am a lot shorter but thats beside the fact. His name is ETHAN.So he is a lot like me.
ReplyDeleteP.S THIS IS ETHAN FERGUSON
PP.S IT IS A GOOD BOOK
PPP.S HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP
OK THATS IT BYE
Hey, Ethan! It was great to hear about your connections to the book. Good readers always make connections to the text. It just helps us to dive into the setting and characters' lives, you know?
DeleteI'm tired after Open House, so I'm hoping for a good night's sleep!
I didn't know if you were a myths fan and wanted to see if u would try something new
ReplyDelete~kaydriana
I am, but not a superfan. I'm willing to try:) Remind me to show you a website for creating your own myth online. It's really cool.
Deletehi mrs thomas i finally found the website!!! i typed it in like five times and i still couldnt find it!!!lol. im reading CATHING FIRE right now.its very sad im onthe part where the victors have to go back to the games for thr quell {sad face} im sure it will get better though
ReplyDeleteps im in ur HR
-JaVonn Wells
You're silly, JaVonn! I know who you are:)
DeleteIt is sad, and it's even sadder once we realize that Peeta doesn't really believe he'll come out alive. He's probably my favorite character in the book series for his simplicity and bravery.
Ello Mrs.Thomas im currently reading a book called Dragon Prince. It miht be underneath my Lexi at the moment but im reading it because everyone one eles took all the goods books or i read them Hahaha so this book is about a time when dragon lived on this earth to.At one point dragons and humans lived in equality and peacefully. But everything has to come to an end sometime right? And now the dragons and humans have hated eachother for over 200yrs now but you will have 2 read it and find out what happend and why also whats goin to happen now?donest everybody wonder(even i do)
ReplyDeleteRegan Gayadeen (Guyadean)
I remember you mentioning this book in class.
DeleteI'm hoping our media center will open soon for your sake! Is there a book or series you want me to help you find? Do you feel like you're stuck in a book rut?
I did finially find a book for me its called "Fablehaven" and i find it amazing so far.The little brother Seth is a bit eccentric, and the elder sister Kena is deffinately the cautious one and she is very talented and smart i would say this book is for any fantasy, fiction,or mystory fan the main point to the book would be that these kids go to visit their grandfather who mostly keeps to himself and he sets certain rules that they must never EVER break if you wanna know if they do and if so what happens and why they cant break them i totally recommend tis book to you (but you have to wait till im done with it).
DeleteRegan, I'm glad you've found an exciting book! You managed to identify and describe the main characters, as well as the book's genre and main idea, for another reader who may (or may not) be interested. Well done.
DeleteThank you thank you very much Mrs.Thomas
Deletewell im guessing the point of trying to make people interested is really just to give em' cliff hangers but i hope people are i still find it a fun book but the lil brother seth a bit eccentirc and the older sister wayyyy to stuck up.But i would say this book is also for the mystery lovers out there
DeleteHi Mrs.Thomas just got a ne w book called, _Ice_Fire_ it is a good book so far but i hope it gets better
ReplyDeleteETHAN FERGUSON:)
Cool! Why did you select Ice Fire? Is it similar to anything you've already read?
DeleteHi Mrs. Thomas I am reading The Hunger Games. So far it is good.I think thatthe story is kind of a long wait in the beginning to see what happens. But,I really don't want it to end!
ReplyDeleteRia Dunham
Ria, this series is one of my favorites. There's so much to consider as you read it (government control, sacrifice, personal choices, etc.). There are many fans of the series in our class, so you need to chat with them, too (online or during homeroom). Also, did you see the movie?
DeleteSame here girl fiend when the series ends you'll be a big ball of tears!
DeleteReilly Thomas
Regan I know how it feels it looks like we are the only 3 people in the entire earth that like those books!Savannah tried it and hated it and I was all like"Whaaaaat???"LOL
DeleteReilly, how dare Savannah not like the books! :) The movie for Catching Fire started filming this weekend. We just have to wait a year to see it. No big deal, right?!?

Fantastic! We'll never reach the 160 words per minute reading goal without practice. Were you visualizing the text as you read it aloud?
DeleteHello Mrs.Thomas I am reading the book (A Series of Unfortunate Events:The Austere Academy). It is very interesting but sad.The orphans parents died in a fire at their mansion. They were forced to live with a cruel relative named Count Olaf.He beat the son and tried to steal the family's fortune. He was almost arrested but always escapes the crime scene.now they are in a stuck up boarding school.Living in a tin room full of snapping crabs. The principal is making the baby be his secretary. The orphans names are Violet(the oldest),Klaus(the middle child),and Sunny(the baby). How will they survive?-Briana Grant
ReplyDeleteHi, Briana! I'm going to predict that the orphans will band together to escape the school. Strength in numbers!
DeleteDid you finish the other series you started, or did you decide against it?
Oh! by the way I'm the one who wrote the thing about Artemis Fowl being evil and stuff! I wanted to tell everyone about The book "Eragon". I think the book is great and all but, The main character goes through a lot to learn what he's supose to do for the rest ofthe series. Here's an example: Brom is a character who dies not to long after you meet him. Eragon is very sad and angry because he just lost someone who was like a father to him. That book is very sad but extremely cool and filled with lots of action. I think everyone should read these books, but I will say they are a little gory!
ReplyDeleteAngie was here!:D
Thanks for the caution on the book's gore!
DeleteI meant to ask you if reading multiple books at one time ever confuses you? Also, are you finished with Artemis Fowl book? If so, were you satisfied with the ending?
Hi mrs thomas just wanted to tell u that the blog is coming along greatly

DeleteMrs.Thomas I finished my reading for this week and I finished (again) The Sea Monsters by Rick Riordan. I still can't get over how the ending turned out.
ReplyDeleteLOVED IT
Kyle Anderson
Kyle, those books are classics, which is why we read them over and over again. I really enjoy rereading books. There are important elements we can miss the first time, and I believe the plot somehow becomes more personal during multiple readings.
DeleteHi Mrs. Thomas
ReplyDeleteI was finishing my 2 hours early and decided to recommend the series of books I'm reading. I'm reading American girl collection of Addy. the collection is about I'm not your girl and her family( sister, brother, mother and her father) and how they live ( survive) after slavery. Iwoold tell you more but you'll have to read the book to find out want happens.
Raven Holmes
I love the American Girl collection. I even had the dolls when I was younger! Are you going to read more books in the collection?
DeleteDear Mrs. Thomas,
DeleteYes i do plan how to read American girl book. There are lots of lessons you can learn (maybe even something to do with love, life, and learning). And many different to deal with. GOOD NIGHT! ;-)
Raven Holmes
Wow! Thank you for referencing our new unit. I think that's fantastic.
Deletehi its zyare, reagon I really want to read about it tell me more on Monday. have u ever considered quizbowl, you'd be perfect. tell u more on Monday

ReplyDeleteKyla, I hope you mastered your backbend kickover! It sounds painful:)
DeleteI think I finished the Twilight series in about 10 days! I would read it at every opportunity. Another teacher saw me reading during school on several different occasions, and she said to me, "Mrs. Thomas, you must be going through something with those books. They haven't left your hand."
Why do you like Twilight so much?
hi Mrs. Thomas I just want to say that i'm reading mockingjay and i've been reading for2 hours and my grandma won't sign it because it's the weekend because she doesn't let me do homework for the next week until it's the next week!!!!!!>:(

Hi, Kimorri! Welcome to our blog. I think you'll really enjoy the action in those books. What book are you reading first?
DeleteHi Mrs.Thomas, I have now been reading _dork_diaries_ the first book for 1 hour and 12 mins.
ReplyDeleteJessica Broad :)
Jessica, those books are flying off my shelf (that's an idiom and a cliche)! Are you going to read the whole series? Someone told me they're like The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, but they're targeted more towards girls. Do you think that's true?
DeleteAlso, I'm very grateful to a student for donating them to our classroom library. I rely on my students to help keep me updated on the latest and greatest books.
Mrs. Thomas, I hope to read the series. I've finished the book and then I read a _Babymouse_ book and I finished, so now I'm reading a book called _Dare _to _be_Scared_.
DeleteJessica Broad
Hi! I think I have that book on my shelf, or is it mine? It has been a popular book recently.
DeleteDid you complete a book page on Babymouse? I want to give you credit for reading, and I can help you if you need it.
I haven't done it yet, but i will.Oh and I got the babymouse book from the library. It's another series that i hope to read!

You might want to recommend some books to Christa in our class. She's looking for a new book.
DeleteWell, since today in class you said she likes mystery books then i would suggest the library book called _Dare_To_Be_Scared_ I'm turning the book back into the library. Also, I have been reading a Magic Tree House book. I love a good mystery!XD

Kyla, if you're feeling this way, it means you're visualizing the text very well. That's fantastic!
DeleteJust finished Ninth__ Ward_____ the ending is traggic. I knew what was going to happen. But , the ending was so upsetting that I didn't want to read the end.
ReplyDeleteFrom: Zyare Orr
Zyare, I know that feeling. It makes me want to throw the book out the window (I don't do that though!). How did you know what was going to happen? Did you make a good prediction, or did someone tell you the ending?
DeleteZyare i dont really think reveiling the end of a book would be bad karma for other people so how bout explaing the book first i would love to hear what its about.

Hi mrs. Thomas I tried making my mom read a book about braiding hair nut she refused to read it ! I went to Carrie Hillards tonight for my grandmas birthday I was reading half of the time. Now I'm multitasking by listing to the cma awards and reading my book.

ReplyDeleteI have never read that book, which is ironic since I love a good mystery. My friend reads it in her classes every year. What do you like about it?
Hi everyone today Mrs.Thomas was talking to me today about the blog. She says that she noticed more people have blogged on the 1st blog but not on the 2nd blog. I just want to encourage you to blog about anything that comes to your mind(about reading not random stuff)!
ReplyDeleteLove Christa Ross
Christa, thank you for the support! Do you think it's hard for students to visualize, which is what my 2nd post asked them to do?

Makenna, welcome to the blog:)
DeleteIt sounds interesting. I hope it doesn't give anyone ideas on how to commit crimes the right way!! How did you hear about the book?
hey evrybody!!!! i want to recommend a book!!!its called __SCAT__. if ur an animal lover this is ur book. i love it. i wanted to add i think that a good charactor for katniss would be the girl off of _____bridge to terribetheia____ sorry ifi spelled it worng.
ReplyDelete- javonn wells
Fantastic! Thank you for the book recommendation. I haven't read the book yet, but I'm an animal lover. Is there a good chance the book will make my cry?
DeleteBy the way, Anna Sophia Robb is the actress from the Bridge to Terabithia movie. I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. In my opinion, she's too pale and blonde to play the role. Now, some makeup and a dark wig could do the trick, but I'm not sure if she has the tenacity to play Katniss.
I'm hoping someone else responds to your comment, so we can discuss this more! I love Katniss, so I'm picky:)
Hi Mrs.Thomas I just got through puttting the Westin Game on hold at the library! Can't wait to read it!!!
